Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Commercial Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for providing commercial advice and developing solutions that meet stakeholder objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements to ensure all requirements and risks are addressed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare commercial elements and participate in management reviews for bid and proposal activities.
  • Interpret and advise on customer procurement policy and regulations, company policy, and contract requirements to inform decision-making.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier interfaces during all phases of contract performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial management, contract management, negotiations, supplier management, and customer engagement.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining positive customer/partner relationships.
  • A self-motivated team player who can work independently with limited oversight.
  • An ability to influence parties at an operational level to achieve objectives within a compliance framework.
  • Holding a current NV1 Defence security clearance or about to obtain one.
