About Us

Cocoon Group Services is a rapidly expanding, innovative organisation with a dynamic culture.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Community Relations Manager. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless transitions and building collaborative partnerships with local community organisations, regional and state government agencies, and other like-minded groups.

Your key objective will be to foster strong relationships that generate opportunities for people with disabilities to access suitable housing and services that enable them to live life to the fullest.

About You

To succeed in this challenging role, you will require:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the NDIS pricing guide and ability to complete schedule of support agreements and tenancy agreements.
  • Established referral connections and local knowledge of the area.
  • Exceptional communication and engagement skills to build and maintain collaborative partnerships.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and demonstrate community relations experience.
  • Well-developed stakeholder negotiation skills to deliver solutions that meet the needs of NDIS participants.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role within a human services environment.
  • An empathetic approach, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • The capacity to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including planning, prioritising, monitoring workload, deadlines, and meeting KPIs.
  • The ability to implement and comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with organisations that can connect us with people who need our services.

Mandatory Requirements

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clearance check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation certificate.
  • Your own vehicle and an unrestricted driving licence.
  • NDIS Orientation Module.
