
Trauma-Informed Care Lead

As a key leader in our organisation, you will have the opportunity to drive excellence in trauma-informed care for individuals and families affected by Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence.
Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering best practice and achieving meaningful client outcomes across Southwest Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to a team of multi-disciplinary practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds
- Oversee quality assurance processes and offer expert guidance on service delivery, team performance, and clinical standards
- Support staff in managing complex and high-needs clients, ensuring care aligns with qualifications and service scope
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet client, community, and funding objectives
- Ensure services meet contractual obligations and maintain effective communication with funding account managers
You are a compassionate and capable leader with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a commitment to empowering teams and clients alike. You bring:
- Proven experience coordinating services and guiding individuals and teams to deliver impactful client outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work, nursing, or a related field
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared goals
- Solid understanding of child protection, domestic and family violence legislation, and other frameworks relevant to service delivery
- A person-centred approach that puts dignity, safety, and recovery at the heart of every interaction
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, paired with strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities
- Experience using electronic client record management systems to support efficient and accurate service delivery
- A current Working with Children Check
