Customer Service Representative

As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this vision. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, efficient, and memorable.
**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Officer. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service, including handling sales, queries, and complaints;
- Managing high-value transactions accurately, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS;
- Conducting and processing identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews;
- Promoting our products and services through upselling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities;
- Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associated costs;
- Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs;
- Assisting with administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in customer service and/or cash handling;
- Ability to lift up to 16kg of mail regularly and stand for extended periods;
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable demeanor;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
