Job Title:

Store Operations Manager

Role Overview:

The Store Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the retail environment. This individual supports the store manager in leading a high-performing team, fostering excellent customer service, and coaching colleagues to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient store operations to attain sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  2. Team Motivation: Inspire team members to excel in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  3. Sales Monitoring: Closely track store sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Wage Management: Effectively manage wage costs, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  5. Team Development: Coach and mentor team members to maintain high team morale and encourage individual growth by ensuring training and succession plans are in place.
  6. OH&S Management: Ensure efficient Occupational Health and Safety management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.
Requirements:
  1. 1+ years of experience as a Retail Store Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  2. A motivated and driven attitude.
  3. A passion for leading and inspiring teams to succeed.
  4. The ability to think strategically and identify missed opportunities with a proven track record in driving sales and KPIs.
  5. Being operationally excellent with experience in stock control and visual merchandising.
  6. Effective roster management and wage control expertise.
