Job Title: Technology Operational Risk Specialist

  • This role requires a solid foundation in technology and/or technology risk, minimum 5 years of experience, and the ability to apply that knowledge to complex environments and evolving risk landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-line risk support across technology & operations in line with group risk management frameworks.
  2. Risk profiling and assessments.
  3. Managing control issues and risk events.
  4. Overseeing third-party risk governance.
  5. Enhancing reporting and oversight of critical systems.
  6. Engage with executive-level stakeholders on technology risk management matters.
  7. Contribute to the delivery of the technology & operations risk culture plan.
  8. Support the identification, assessment, and automation of technology controls, including the use of AI.
  9. Enable technology teams to independently apply the risk management framework through intuitive tools and resources.
  10. Leverage internal and external data to deliver forward-looking technology risk insights.
  11. Act as a risk SME on projects, initiatives, remediation, and continuous improvement activities.
  12. Collaborate with internal SMEs (e.g., controls assurance, cyber & protective services, second-line risk) to support technology assessments and assurance.
  13. Mentor and uplift the skills of junior team members.
  14. Contribute to future growth planning and support enterprise programs across your organization.
