The role drives consistency, compliance, and competitiveness in product quality across the Concrete & Aggregates and Masonry divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to regional teams.
- Lead ISO9001 management system implementation.
- Establish best practice guidelines for inspection, test plans, batching controls, mix design, contract review processes, QEST adoption, and training materials.
- Identify and drive improvement initiatives for operational excellence.
- Measure progress against agreed objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a technical role within construction materials industry.
- Engineering/materials science degree highly regarded.
- Proven experience managing continuous improvement programs advantageous.
- Working knowledge of QEST, Australian Standards, Infrastructure Specifications, and Low Carbon Concrete guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and commercial acumen required.
