Job Overview

This role is a 12-month parental leave contract opportunity to work as an analyst, focusing on turning raw data into meaningful insights. The goal is to better understand and engage with customers, driving smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing customer data to uncover trends, behaviors, and opportunities that inform business strategies.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards, tracking key performance indicators, and delivering both routine and ad-hoc analytics with actionable recommendations.
  • Creating, populating, and distributing CRM reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Developing and deploying customer segments across customer data platforms and email service providers, enabling targeted activation across various external channels.
  • Maintaining CRM data integrity, ensuring compliance with Australian data and marketing standards.
  • Configuring, managing, and supporting customer platforms such as CDP, Yotpo, Emarsys, and Experian.
  • Troubleshooting and translating business needs into technical solutions.
About You
  • A minimum of three years' experience in CRM or customer data analytics roles.
  • Proven track record in customer analytics within a retail or consumer-focused environment – multi-brand experience beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining and using reporting/visualisation tools.
  • Expertise in interpreting customer data and turning it into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with customer technology stacks – CDP and ESP experience is beneficial.
  • Experience building customer segments for multi-channel activation (email, digital, paid media, CRM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate effectively with engineers.
