Myer is looking for an Insights Analyst to deliver actionable data-driven insights to support the Merchandise team.
This role involves analysing and interpreting data and transforming into summarised tables and visualisations required by the Insights Lead and Business Partner.Exciting new opportunity in our Loyalty and Content departmentJoin our growing MYER teamFlexible hybrid working model - mix of working in our Docklands Support Office and Work-From-HomeAbout the role:Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities for the Merchandise team.Develop actionable insights tailored to merchandise-specific needs, such as category performance, customer behavior, and market trends.Assist the Insights Lead in preparing and delivering presentations and reports for key stakeholdersBuild, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to provide regular updates on key metrics for the Merchandise team.Support the automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility.Conduct analysis of customer segmentation, purchasing patterns and market trends.Collaborate with the Insights Lead to extract and format the data required for TPC deep dive packs and supplier presentations.Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data in all analyses and reporting.Identify and suggest enhancements to data analysis tools and processesAbout you:Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or a related field.Proven experience in an insights or analytics role preferably within retail or FMCG.Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that influence business outcomes.Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align analytics work with business needsStrong proficiency in data tools and technologies, including SQL and Excel.Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insightProficiency (desirable) in tools like MicroStrategy, BigQuery, Google Analytics, and Marketing Research.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and storytelling skills, able to present data in a meaningful way for non-technical audiences.Benefits to you:Generous team member discounts on all Myer products, including team-member exclusive discounts.Access to lifestyle leave and volunteer leave - arrange work around your life, not life around work.A supportive leadership and team network to set you up for success.Career growth and succession opportunities across the business.Here, you're not only an employee.
