The role

As a Customer Insights Analyst, you will provide reporting, analysis, insights and actionable recommendations on customer behaviour and opportunities. This role will also involve engaging business stakeholders to understand information need and support & embed use of customer data across the business.

Key responsibilities
- Own, maintain & refine regular reporting and dashboards for stakeholders across CRG
- Use SQL skills on BigQuery to perform transformation on raw data to build data warehouse tables to be used in dashboards and other analysis
- Analyse customer data for CRG in response to stakeholder questions and to identify opportunities for future growth or efficiency
- Champion a 'Test & Learn' approach to business change, keeping abreast of the business change program and ensuring trials are properly structured to allow measurement & learning
- Participate in cross functional project activity, such as process improvement, business change or key focus areas. Maintain flexibility, curiosity & accuracy to ensure sure a strong customer view in these projects
- Collaborate with other customer insight functions in the team (Marketing, Customer Research, Market Intelligence, Digital) to enhance our knowledge of the customer and combine insight into one aligned story for the business
- Keep abreast of industry developments to identify areas of process improvement or new forms of analytics/data visualisation
- Be the champion for online analytics - building out a series of reports and dashboards on Data studio.
- Ad-hoc reporting across Loyalty, Digital Marketing, and CDP teams to further understand customer behaviour
- Proven experience within the AWS stack, Azure or SQL server.
- Experience working on CDP platform but not essential
- Knowledge of or a keen interest in Customer Insight, Loyalty or CRM, delivering insight to inform commercial decisions
- Use of data visualisation tools is desirable (Power BI,Qlik, Tableau, Datastudio),
- Experience in navigating & querying databases is AWS sandbox environment. Familiarity using AWS Athena desirable
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (eg Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI) and/or data processing tools (e.g. BigQuery, SQL, R, Python etc)
- Have advanced knowledge of Excel and the use of pivot tables and statistical analysis
