As a School Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the college and contributing to the overall well-being of our students and staff. You will work closely with our teaching staff and administrative team to ensure the smooth running of the college.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers, and staff when required
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)
  • Interpersonal skills in working with a range of people
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required
