As an Orientation & Mobility Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert assessment, training, and intervention services to clients of all ages. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop personalized mobility plans that cater to their requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mobility needs and develop tailored plans to address these needs.
  • Training and Intervention: Provide expert training and intervention services to clients, focusing on orientation, mobility, and navigation skills.
  • Service Coordination: Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and older adults, each with their unique challenges and requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in Orientation & Mobility from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in providing client support and O&M services, either in-person or remotely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in O&M.
