About Our Training Role

Our mission is to empower individuals to be resourceful and independent. We provide community services to disadvantaged people in various locations.

We offer training programs that help individuals build their capacity and confidence to enter the workforce or pursue further education.

Training Programs

You will deliver engaging training programs to students with disadvantages. As a facilitator, you will help students build their employability skills, language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering training programs to students
  • Helping students build employability skills, language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills
  • Building rapport and working with clients from schools, Disability Employment Service providers, Workforce Australia Providers, and other Community groups
  • Reporting to a Manager

Duties

You will be engaged primarily to deliver training to students and perform the following duties:

  • Participating in student selection and assessment of student needs or suitability
  • Assisting in following up on student outcomes for their area of employment services or placement support
  • Liaising with employers to organize work experience, work placement, and industry support
  • Undertaking necessary planning and evaluation for training under supervision
  • Completing administrative paperwork required to support training programs
  • Assisting more senior Trainers or Program Consultants as needed

- Interest in a career working with disadvantaged adults or young people

- Desire to learn more about planning and delivering engaging, high-quality programs to groups of people

- Reliable, punctual, team players with strong communication skills

- Ability to build rapport with people (team members, people, and stakeholders)
