Job Overview

The Team Lead is a critical role in delivering the Inclusive Employment program across various regions. The successful candidate will guide and support a team to provide person-centered assistance, help clients build confidence and skills, and secure meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team under the guidance of a Service Manager.
  • Develop the team's understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Translate program guidelines into high-quality service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
  • Guide clients into meaningful employment through trust, empathy, and personalized support.
  • Build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.
  • Champion values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You
  • A confident leader with a passion for mentoring others and driving performance, creating a supportive and results-driven environment.
  • A strong understanding of employment services and program guidelines, and ability to mentor others to provide high-quality service.
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with your team, clients, and employers, guiding individuals into meaningful employment through empathy and tailored support.
  • Proactive, organized, and lead by example, committed to inclusion and person-centred practice.
Essential Criteria
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable.
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.
  • Confidence in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends.
  • Current Driver's License – essential.
