About The RoleBreakthru has been selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. You will lead the team across the Lower Hunter Employment Service Area (ESA), guiding and supporting the team to deliver person-centered support, help clients build confidence and skills, and secure meaningful, sustainable work. You will work closely with employers to strengthen partnerships that create inclusive employment opportunities. This role focuses on coaching your team to achieve outcomes, driving performance, and making a real difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and support a high-performing team under the guidance of the ESA Service Manager, driving results and fostering growth.
- Develop your team to deepen understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
- Translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
- Guide clients into meaningful work through trust, empathy, and personalised support.
- Build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.
- Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
You're a confident leader with a passion for mentoring others and driving performance. You know how to bring out the best in a team, creating a supportive and results-driven environment where people thrive. With a strong understanding of employment services and program guidelines, you're skilled at mentoring others to provide a high-quality service that meets performance targets. You build genuine relationships with your team, clients, and employers, guiding individuals into meaningful work through empathy, trust, and tailored support. You're proactive, organised, and lead by example. Most importantly, you're committed to inclusion, empowerment, and making a real difference through person-centred practice.
Essential Criteria- Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable
- Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
- Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
- Current Driver's License - essential
