Job Title: Partnerships Coach

This role enables individuals to access meaningful employment by collaborating with them to explore career goals, build confidence, and connect them to suitable opportunities.

The successful candidate will partner with employers to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored solutions that meet those needs. This includes training and promoting inclusive hiring practices to create a more diverse workforce.

This role is part of a respected not-for-profit organization with over 125 years of experience delivering disability and rehabilitation services. This provides stability, resources, and support to grow your career and make a real impact in people's lives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement career development plans for clients.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on individuals with disability, injury or health condition.
  • Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through strategic partnerships and recruitment initiatives.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote the organization as a trusted provider supporting individuals with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Embody the organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

You'll bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. Experience or a genuine passion for employment services is desirable. You're confident supporting individuals, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers.

You'll understand an employer's business, its people, culture, and challenges so you can identify tailored solutions that meet those needs. Your relationship-building skills help you connect with clients and employers, and your ability to deliver training supports a lasting impact.

You're proactive with marketing and networking, with strong attention to detail to keep records accurate and professional. Above all, you approach work with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred service.
