The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance and operation of critical defence infrastructure. This includes overseeing the upkeep and operational readiness of the Space Surveillance Telescope, Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communications Transmitter, and C-Band Radar Tracking Radar.
They will lead a team of experts to achieve success by setting a clear vision, building a plan, and utilizing unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers innovative solutions.
- Ensure quality and EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
- Manage financial resources effectively, including Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience supervising teams consisting of various trade professionals.
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance management with a technical/trade background is essential.
- A relevant diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least four years of prior relevant experience is necessary.
- Previous experience in improving processes, systems, or products to enhance job area performance is desirable.
