About the Role

The role of Precinct Operations and Maintenance Manager plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of defence infrastructure, including space surveillance telescope, very low frequency communications transmitter, and C-band radar tracking radar.

Located in Exmouth, Western Australia, this team leader will be responsible for managing both the maintenance and operations of base facilities as well as emergency response capability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage resources, reporting, and deliverables.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained in alignment with relevant policies.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships through excellent communication.

Candidates must hold a negative vetting level 1 security clearance and be eligible to obtain one if required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A diploma in information technology, telecommunications, electronics, or engineering.
  • A diploma in leadership and management or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance management.
  • Experience supervising a team.
