VLF Operations and Maintenance Manager

This position is responsible for leading a large team of trade and technical professionals in the maintenance and operation of critical defence infrastructure.

  • Leading and collaborating within a cross-functional environment to manage resources and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring Quality and EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
  • Planning, scheduling, and managing maintenance requirements and requests in accordance with program priorities.
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance activities to ensure completion within schedule and required quality outcomes.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.

Key qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience keeping teams safe and prioritizing safety.
  • Experience supervising a team consisting of various trade and technical professions.
  • Able to manage maintenance systematically to optimize asset utilization.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Management processes.
  • Possessing a relevant diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A degree in Leadership & Management or related field.
