Job Title: VLF Operations and Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in the operation and maintenance of critical defence infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team of trade and technical professionals, ensuring effective execution of maintenance activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and collaborating within a cross-functional environment to manage budget, resources and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.">
  • Ensuring Quality & EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.">
  • Planning, scheduling and managing maintenance requirements and requests in accordance with program priorities.">
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance activities to ensure completion within required quality outcomes.">
  • Practicing excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience keeping their teams safe, leading with safety as a core value. They will also have experience supervising a team consisting of various trade and technical professions, and have managed maintenance in a systematic way to get the most out of the Assets they are entrusted with.

A Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Engineering in a related discipline is preferred, as well as a Diploma in Leadership & Management, or equivalent. Our ideal candidate will have on-the-job experience improving processes to deliver results for their Customers and the teams.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance as needed.
