About the Role

The Injury Claims Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the management of workers' compensation claim portfolios. This involves providing centralised and service-oriented support to the WHS and Wellbeing Lead with workers' compensation administration, claim reviews, injury management, case meetings, database management, and reporting.

You will work closely with the aged care homes and return-to-work plans for injured employees in conjunction with advice from the company insurer, medical professionals, and managers of injured workers.

Responsibilities

  • SIRA Return to Work Coordination Training
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding in workers' compensation claim management
  • Strong administration, planning, and organisational skills
  • An understanding of the principles of WHS and Workers Compensation legislation and regulations and Codes of Practice
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with developed computer and systems skills
