About Us

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. The overarching goal of the SIRA team is to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes across the NSW personal injury schemes.

Job Description

  • Willingness to learn and influence regulated entities and stakeholders to achieve scheme objectives
  • Assist in the supervision of health providers within the compensable schemes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide operational support, including monitoring and updates on deliverables relating to priorities with the supervision of health providers
  • Undertake research and data analysis in preparation of regulatory supervision activity to support informed decision making and planning for the team
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the team

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $97,027 - $107,059 per annum, plus superannuation. This competitive remuneration package reflects the importance of this position in the NSW Government.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Understanding of regulatory processes
  • Knowledge and experience with data analysis to support scheme objectives
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidelines relevant to SIRA's personal injury compensation schemes
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
