As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. This includes managing payroll-related inquiries efficiently and providing support to the finance manager as needed.
About the Role:In this varied position, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with the team to complete the timely and accurate payment of all pay runs for 3,000 employees and workers compensation claims on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process and terminations; escalating ideas to maintain payroll system integrity.
- Utilizing time and attendance payroll module.
- Performing ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed while maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll role, accounting or payroll qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated knowledge including complaint handling, employee relations, WHS, terminations, workers compensations claims, policies and procedures, inclusion and diversity.
Sound understanding of industry Enterprise Agreements, awards and NES.
Strong skills with MS Office products, especially Excel.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain successful relationships.
Australian working rights are required.
