Role Overview

The Partnership Specialist, Consumer Partnerships position sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports to the Senior Manager (Product Owner – Everyday Spend).

This role drives growth for designated partners, covering relationship management, partner marketing and innovation strategies, end-to-end campaign delivery, and contract negotiations.

About You
  • You have over 5 years of commercial experience in Commercial, Partnership, or Consumer Loyalty environments.
  • You possess project management expertise to lead new programs of work within partnerships.
  • You're an expert in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, confident in assessing context, environment, and growth opportunities.
  • You have extensive knowledge of loyalty programs and a strong understanding of the loyalty environment.
  • You excel at stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, effectively liaising with multiple stakeholders, including partners and senior internal leaders.
  • You're passionate about piloting new ideas and challenging conventional thinking.
  • You're data-literate, with demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to develop forecasts and business cases.
  • You have a customer-centric focus on delivering enhanced experiences for partners and members.
  • You possess commercial acumen to critically analyze opportunities and business contexts.
  • You're skilled in negotiation, navigating stakeholder relationships and contracts.
  • You're comfortable presenting and pitching to all levels within a business.
  • You understand partner marketing strategies and execution.
  • You can develop marketing initiatives and drive them through to fulfillment.
