About the Role

This position is part of Afterpay's continual growth efforts, focusing on building relationships with prospective SMB Premium merchants through both outbound business development and inbound leads.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive revenue growth with new Premium merchants through onboarding quality and merchant growth opportunities.
  2. Manage inbound leads to maximize high conversion rates.
  3. Sell and onboard SMBs, supporting OMNI channel expansion.
  4. Follow sales and onboarding processes accurately to maximize yearly sales volumes.
  5. Identify new business opportunities, highlighting Afterpay's value proposition.
  6. Develop an in-depth understanding of Afterpay, retail industry trends, and competition.
  7. Manage, track, and report sales activities and results using Salesforce.

Required Qualifications

  1. Comfortable with high-volume cold-calling and business development.
  2. Experience with tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, or Aircall.
  3. Strong sales pipeline management, data interpretation, and meeting sales metrics and targets.
  4. Previous retail or payments industry experience is not necessary.
