Job Summary:

We are seeking an Executive Director of Community Engagement to drive local area marketing strategies, increase referrals to pre-need and at-need teams, and generate new business partnerships within our designated geographic territory. You will lead and coach a team of professionals to deliver growth, ensuring that InvoCare's services reach and support more families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Lead and coach a team of Local Area Engagement Specialists to optimise business outcomes.
    • Engage in hands-on coaching to develop team members.
    • Foster a culture of high engagement, accountability, and excellence in brand representation.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement:
    • Implement and execute local area marketing plans.
    • Develop and manage local area engagement campaigns and strategies.
    • Identify and target new community groups for business development and ongoing relationships.
    • Drive sponsorship opportunities to increase sales of pre-paid funerals and at--need referrals.
  • Business Development & Networking:
    • Develop strong business networks with industry stakeholders, community groups, and key influencers.
    • Support sales activation of B2B and corporate partnership opportunities to grow profitability and market share.
    • Monitor and report on territory business performance, risks, opportunities, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development leadership roles.
  • Proven success in coaching and developing business development team members.
  • Experience leading and managing financial performance targets and market share growth.
  • Strong track record in creating and developing local business and community relationships.
  • Expertise in managing and developing multi-brand, multi-location, cross-functional teams.
  • Elite networking and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence large audiences.
  • Commercial acumen balanced with empathy.
  • Desirable: Experience within the funeral/death industry or healthcare sector.
  • Desirable: Established network in local communities.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
