A Significant Impact in Communications

We're seeking an Executive Communications Director to join our Communications team and help us earn trust, build advocacy, and drive gains in reputation and people engagement.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute impactful communications strategies and campaigns to support engagement and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media and pitch stories to a broad range of outlets, including new mediums.
  • Assist with issues management, regularly looking for ways to build trust in Ubank and manage crises, aligned with the CVP and EVP.
  • Bring a holistic stakeholder perspective and contribute to business decisions that will build trust and drive change for the benefit of customers, communities, Ubank, and NAB Group.
  • Drive effective working relationships with members of the Leadership Team and across functions to align communication on Ubank-wide campaigns to drive greater impact.
  • Apply judgment on potential risk and reputational issues and effectively manage risk as it relates to your role.
What You'll Bring:
  • Effective liaison skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications measurement and reporting.
  • Excellent written communication skills and storytelling ability, delivered in the appropriate style of language and channel for the target audiences.
  • Exhibit excellent stakeholder skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have a deep interest in and understanding of the external environment, and how this impacts communications strategy.
