Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Executive Project Director to oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of commercial office fitout projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, each with varying project values from $1M to $15M.

This role encompasses a broad scope across the entire project lifecycle, including risk assessments, contract negotiation, compliance management, budgeting, and team performance. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and managing fitout projects from inception to completion.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments of project contracts prior to construction commencement.
  • Collaborating with the Site Manager to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Preparing accurate project forecasts.
  • Chairing regular Project Control Meetings.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to review quality standards and adherence to specifications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A minimum of 5+ years' relevant experience in a Project Management role or similar within the construction industry, preferably with expertise in workplace and office fitouts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven understanding of trade quotations, cost management, and interpreting plans.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on location and experience.
