Senior Risk Compliance Professional

This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, execution, and monitoring of a risk and compliance management framework.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to increase awareness of regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing communication and advice on compliance matters and process development in line with the organisation's risk appetite and governance framework.
- Contribute to strengthening governance and the compliance framework through proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Law or Business Management, significant leadership experience in risk management, compliance, or internal audit within a complex financial services organisation, advanced communication and writing skills, technical understanding of regulatory requirements, and ability to apply practical and commercial acumen to business problems.
They will also be able to assess risk levels, propose solutions to mitigate risk, design processes and controls, navigate complexity and ambiguity, and partner effectively with senior stakeholders to establish professional relationships and influence outcomes.
