Compensation Manager Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compensation Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the compensation process, ensuring employees receive their wages and benefits on time.

The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in compensation administration, with sound knowledge of Australian employment legislative and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc pay runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Calculate and prepare new starters and termination pays, in accordance with policy.
  • Ensure leave requests are appropriately submitted and approved.
  • Manage the reconciliation of payroll, superannuation payments, bonuses, and authorized deductions.
  • Process payroll tax, reporting, and payment for all Australian states.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and administration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in compensation administration.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislative and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
