We are looking for a Workers Compensation Manager to join our Safety team here at G4S. You will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the effective engagement and management of the workers' compensation and rehabilitation functions. This role is pivotal in
- Managing the insurance, claims and injury management function for workers compensation as well as
- Managing the compliance and administrative requirements
- Ensuring that business effectively and efficiently manages the workers compensation inputs and outputs across our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the effective engagement and management of the workers' compensation and rehabilitation functions
- Monitor the performance of third-party providers involved in the workers compensation, claims and rehabilitation process
- Monitor conformance to workers compensation insurance requirements in relation to privacy, claims administration, audit and compliance.
- Develop a strategy for best practice workers compensation and injury management
- Educate business leaders on workers compensation and best business management driving value
- Manage the relationship with insurers to ensure value and performance
- Oversee the injury management function and resource
- Determine feasibility for self-insurance

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in workers compensation in a large multi-jurisdictional organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders, business leaders and staff to ensure the delivery of business objectives within a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Knowledge of workers compensation legislation and jurisdictional requirements and regulations
- The ability to support, coach and develop others
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
