We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Community Development team in Canberra, Australia.
Reporting to the Centre Operations Leader (COL), you will be responsible for overseeing operations, including leadership, management, client services, and excellence within your region.
This role involves shared financial and performance responsibilities with the COL, Project Management and Commercial Leaders, and other leaders within our national operations.
In a region with a promising future and significant growth opportunities, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our existing client base, exploring new prospects while strengthening relationships with existing clients and exploring new strategic project pursuits in ACT Region.

Day-to-day tasks would involve:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the COL in preparing annual business plans and budgets.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and effective management of operational areas within your region.
  • Responsible for achieving net revenue, gross margin, G&A, operating income, and backlog targets from within your region and as a collective across the BC.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years' related work, leadership, financial management, and consulting experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing teams and experience managing teams greater than 20 people is desirable;
  • Familiarity with commercial arrangements on projects and well-developed problem-solving and negotiations skills to resolve issues;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships leading to repeat work;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
