As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing quality services and safeguards to promote opportunities for meaningful participation and active inclusion in society.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting participants with domestic and personal care, transportation assistance, academic support, medication management, building on individual strengths, community participation, group centre activities, and using hoists.
To excel in this role, applicants must possess:
- Current Police Check, Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driver's licence
- Car, registration and insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR training
- NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS Infection Control Module
- Cert 4 in disability or cert 4 in individual support
- Commitment to providing exceptional support and great communication skills
Being fully vaccinated is a mandatory requirement.
