Job Title: Disability Support Specialist

The Disability Support Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This position involves delivering bespoke training and support services that empower participants to develop their living, employment, social, and recreational skills.

A key aspect of this role is promoting community inclusion, independence, decision-making, and personal choice. The Disability Support Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, tailoring supports to meet these requirements.

In addition to providing ongoing support, this position also entails assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. The specialist will work collaboratively with clients who require assistance with transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
