About the Role:

As an EL1 Level Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering service improvements for our client.

This role is located in a dynamic and collaborative work environment that values innovation.

You will lead a dynamic team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions that drive transparency and consistency in the disability sector experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading qualitative and quantitative research to enhance participant understanding.
  • Overseeing service design improvements and current state documentation.
  • Advocating for participant and stakeholder voices in design processes.
  • Facilitating design-thinking sessions to shape future service experiences.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and representing the organisation in forums.
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality outcomes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Expertise in service design, including journey mapping and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary agile teams on large projects.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Advanced communication, synthesis, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Human-Centred Design-led thinking.
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity with ease.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Creately, Miro, or Mural.
  • Experience in disability, social services, or public sector (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, and MS Suite.
