Job Title: APS 6 Level Policy Officer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Officer to join our team at HOBAN. As an APS 6 Level Policy Officer, you will play a key role in advancing policy reforms across branches, including Home and Living Reform, Home and Living Supports, Pricing and Economics, and Partner Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Design and Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement policy reforms that enhance disability supports and services.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions and develop evidence-based policy documents.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including the disability community, to co-design policy solutions and build support for policy reforms.
- Project Management: Manage projects to create a stable market for services and support the development of policy documents and reports.

About You:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective policy solutions.
- Policy Development Experience: Have experience in policy development, including contributions to policy papers and briefings.
- Understanding of Policy Cycle: Have a solid understanding of the policy cycle, including government processes and frameworks.
- Effective Communication Skills: Possess effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build support for policy reforms.
- Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Political Science, Economics, Social Work, or a related field.
