Business Development Representative - Education and Government Sectors

We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities within the Education and Government sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales leads, building relationships with decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

  • Generate qualified opportunities within Higher Education and Government sectors by leveraging your knowledge of sector-specific procurement cycles, budget limitations, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through strategic research, account mapping, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Work closely with assigned Account Executives to develop opportunities and approach targeted segments, ensuring alignment with fiscal year planning and budget cycles.
  • Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including IT Directors, CIOs, and Procurement Officers, to drive long-term sales success.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales development or related experience, preferably in selling to education or government sectors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public sector procurement and RFP/RFQ processes, with the ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Resilient, process-driven, and effective in managing long sales cycles, with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
