Indigenous Health Educator

Macquarie University is seeking a highly skilled Indigenous health educator to lead the development, refinement, and delivery of teaching and learning related to the history, culture, traditional/contemporary knowledges and health of Indigenous peoples in courses for the Macquarie Medical School.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Indigenous cultural awareness, respect, and cultural responsiveness in interactions with Indigenous peoples
- Teach key aspects of history and culture and their connection to current health issues affecting Indigenous peoples
- Develop connections and partnerships for community engagement and Indigenous clinical experiences for students
- Support alignment with Mudang Dali - the University's First Nations Connected Curriculum Framework
The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching and research record in Medical/Health Education and experience in developing, teaching and leading curricula within a higher education setting.
