Lecturer/Senior Educator in Indigenous Healthcare

The University of Technology Sydney is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health to join our Faculty of Health. This key role will focus on leading and contributing to teaching, learning, research, and curriculum development in Indigenous health within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
About the Role- This position actively supports the UTS Indigenous Education and Research Strategy by integrating Indigenous perspectives into nursing education, fostering collaboration within the Faculty of Health, and engaging with industry and community stakeholders to promote the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Indigenous peoples internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering high-quality teaching strategies about Indigenous health
- Leading research activities and maintaining a strong publication track record
- Fostering professional links with relevant industry and community partners
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
- PhD or Masters in nursing or a related discipline
- Current APHRA registration as a nurse or nurse/midwife
- Experience in delivering high-quality teaching in various modalities
- Strong professional links with relevant industry and community partners
Competitive salary range of $123,389 to $172,257 per annum
