Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Claims Team Leader to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Claims Consultants to achieve exceptional levels of service delivery and high standards of quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Develop and motivate a team of Claims Consultants to meet agreed objectives, lead and monitor the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence.
  • Claims Management: Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims, including workload prioritization and allocation, claim review and authorization, technical product, process and system support, and performance and progress reporting.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities that will continually improve Claims performance, provide detailed input into ongoing process and system development, and provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure that every customer receives exceptional levels of service delivery, and that high and sustainable standards of quality results are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous team leadership or equivalent experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate people.
  • Claims Experience: Extensive Home Claims experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage critical stakeholder relationships and effectively analyze and resolve problems.
  • Customer Focus: A core focus on customer outcomes and relations, with the ability to innovate and be creative in developing processes and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required.
