Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Home Claims Examiner to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for assessing damage/loss to insured homes and contents, and supervising and coordinating repair work to ensure restoration with minimal inconvenience to the policy holder and at a fair and reasonable cost to the insurer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of damage/loss to insured homes and contents
- Supervise and coordinate repair work to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution
- Communicate effectively with policy holders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claims process
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with claims
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims management
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
