We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Officer to join our team. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Women, Family & Community Safety (WFCS) Directorate.

  • Provide general admin support and project officer support for the Women, Family and Community Safety directorate.

  • Undertake/co-coordinate the delivery of a range of administrative and business services, preparation of routine correspondence and submissions, human resource and finance processes support, procurement activities, asset management processes, and project management administration in compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

  • Review a range of outgoing correspondence, including letters, briefings, submissions, to ensure quality assurance for accuracy, confidentiality and stylistically consistent in accordance with Departmental standards and guidelines.

  • Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors.

  • Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

  • Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.

  • Develop working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to support collaborative practice.

  • Gather, collate and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planning.

  • Engage with and provide timely advice to relevant stakeholders across WFCS, the Department and with external stakeholders.
