Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering the department's financial targets and company key performance indicators focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a high sales turnover retail business, ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters.

Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders and drive productivity with team members.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and profit ensuring the achievement of all KPI's as set by the company
  • Provide inspirational leadership, training and developing team capability
  • Maintain a focus on commercial acumen ensuring the team have an understanding of the performance of the department / store
  • Effectively manage costs
  • Drive a customer centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience

 

Requirements
  • Experience in managing a high sales turnover retail business
  • Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters
  • Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach
  • A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentation
  • Experience managing the performance, training and development of a medium to large team
  • Skills associated with driving productivity with team members
