About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Agricultural Appointments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, supporting our dealer network, and fostering growth across various business areas.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers through regular visits and communication.
  • Provide Support: Offer technical sales support to dealers, ensuring their pipelines are up-to-date and their needs are met.
  • Network: Enhance our business brand by building industry relationships and establishing ourselves as a thought leader in the agricultural sector.
  • Hit Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals for your territory, driving revenue and profit growth for our client.
  • Plan & Execute: Create and implement sales plans for new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Know the Market: Develop a deep understanding of your region, providing valuable insights and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Achieve Goals: Meet revenue and profit targets, contributing to the overall success of our client.
  • Use Tech: Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and other company programs effectively to manage sales data, track progress, and analyze results.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in new and expanding areas of the business.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience in agronomy or agriculture, who possesses a deep understanding of the agricultural sector. As a skilled problem solver and team player, you will be committed to achieving team objectives and driving business growth. Key qualities we are seeking include:

  • Motivated & Persistent: A love for challenges and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Great Communicator: Excellent account management and business development skills.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
  • Value Seller: Skilled in value-added selling and making sound decisions for customer satisfaction.
  • Education: A formal education in agriculture is a plus, but not essential.
