Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to lead and grow our Centre Based Day Respite programs. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to make a meaningful impact in the community.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in coordinating community-based respite services, a Certificate in Community Services or equivalent qualification, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact and register new clients for the day respite program
  • Organise client transport and potential volunteers
  • Coordinate and set up respite activities
  • Liaise with care coordinators and team members
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Centre Based Day Respite Coordinator or Activities Coordinator
  • Certificate in Community Services or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office and care databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
