About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to join our Legal & Commercial Team in Sydney or Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring contract governance, control processes, and configuration management of the contract.

The role involves being the key contact for the Commonwealth's commercial team, supporting the resolution of contractual issues, including disputes, interpretation, flow-down requirements to subcontractors, meeting contractual requirements, and responding to correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of contracts with support to Program and Project Managers.
  • Configure and manage the Document Management System, including contract and CDRL items.
  • Manage insurance requirements supported by global risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Industry Capability requirements.

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in contract management and commercial management.
  • Legal or business discipline qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the ASDEFCON suite of templates.
