Senior Contract Administrator – Commercially Focus

Do you thrive in a high-pressure environment where sharp commercial instincts meet meticulous contract management?

As a result of our continued growth, Georgiou is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to be a part of our ongoing success and make a valuable contribution to our King George Road Upgrade project, located in Hurstville. This project involves widening King Georges Road between Stoney Creek Road at Beverly Hills, and Forest Road at Hurstville, to create three lanes in each direction, along with a dedicated right turn lane on King Georges Road southbound.

In this high-impact role, you will play a pivotal role in managing variations, ensuring accurate pricing, and proactively mitigating project risks. Your key duties will be to:

  • Manage Contracts & Variations: Oversee all project contracts, lead the pricing of variations in collaboration with the project team, and guarantee strict compliance.
  • Financial Acumen in Action: Manage costs, estimates, claims, and subcontractor engagement throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining Project Cashflow: Process invoices, assess and certify claims, and ensure timely payments to subcontractors to maintain healthy project cash flow.
  • Effective Stakeholder Communication: Develop communication plans to manage client and subcontractor expectations, and adeptly handle any potential disputes.
  • Strategic Risk Mitigation: Contribute to developing effective contract management strategies and proactively mitigate potential contractual risks.

What you're good at:

In addition to holding relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Administrator with a proven track record of success in complex projects. Here's what sets you apart:

  • Contract Master: Possess a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of construction contracts to guarantee compliance and effectively manage risks.
  • Commercial Savvy: Combine strong financial analysis skills with quantity surveying expertise to accurately price variations and manage project costs with precision.
  • Streamlined Efficiency: Excel at optimising contract administration processes, fostering smooth project execution, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Communication Powerhouse: You can clearly communicate complex contractual matters to all stakeholders, building collaboration and resolving disputes efficiently.

Our project team is innovative, always ready for a laugh and willing to go out of their way to help each other and roll up their sleeves to drive positive project outcomes.
