We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as the Director of Clinical Training and Education. This is a key leadership role within the Medical Education Unit, responsible for the provision of leadership and oversight of education, training, supervision, and assessment of pre-vocational training doctors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight of the Medical Education Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs.
- Develop and implement education and training strategies to meet the needs of interns and junior medical officers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with postgraduate medical education body and intern accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical education providers and healthcare organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education and training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
- Registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least three years of general or specialist registration with AHPRA.
- Sound knowledge of the AMC WBA program and experience in teaching in the medical domain.
- Desirable qualifications include a qualification in adult education and experience in developing and implementing online education modules.
- Total remuneration value of up to $349,878 p.a. (L13-L14).
- Total remuneration value of up to $386,713 p.a. (L13-L18).
- Total remuneration value of up to $483,588 p.a. (L18-L24).
