Job Role

This entry-level position offers long-term employment potential, involving safely handling large coal and coke samples, loading/unloading material from high-temperature ovens, performing physical testing, and recording test results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and process large coal and coke samples.
  • Load/unload material from high-temperature ovens.
  • Perform physical testing (crushing, sizing, dividing).
  • Record and transfer validated test results into systems.
  • General site duties and safety incident reporting.

Requirements

  • No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.
  • Solid numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills are required.
  • Candidates should be physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling in a dusty and hot environment.
  • A willingness to learn, wear protective equipment, and meet production deadlines is necessary.
