Coal Quality Technician Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Coal Quality Technician.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safely handle and process large coal and coke samples.
  • Load/unload material from ovens operating at high temperatures.
  • Perform physical testing (crushing, sizing, dividing).
  • Record and transfer validated test results into systems.
  • Contribute to general site duties and safety incident reporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.
  • Solid numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual handling in a dusty and hot environment are required.
  • A willingness to learn, wear protective equipment, and meet production deadlines is crucial.
